6 weird things about me:
#1 I remember the weirdest sorts of things. Things that I should remember (such as schoolwork), I can't really do that. Things that most people don't remember (most of my friends' birthdays, bus routes, train routes, phone numbers) I remember these things damn well. LOL.
#2 I have no idea why since Saturday, I can only solve the top and bottom layer of my Rubik's cube. The sides are all in a mess and I've no idea how to get rid of the mess.
#3 When I eat very fast, my appetite gets real small. If I eat real slow, I seriously can eat as much as guys. LOL.
#4 I'm a Jack of many trades but master of none.
#5 My lappie is on nearly 24/7 for those who still don't know. Or I can say 24/7, just that I switch it of occasionally.
#6 I got tricked by BoAjjang yesterday by a post they made (I'll paste it below later) despite knowing its April Fools' Day.

Okay and then, the letter BoAjjang wrote on the forums.
It's quite lengthy but take some time to read it!
It is to my great displeasure to inform you that SM Entertainment Co., Ltd has sent BoAjjang a cease and desist letter for copyright infringement. We never thought the day would come, but unfortunately, it has. According to SM Entertainment, much of the content on our website and forums have infringed on their intellectual property. The reason why BoAjjang has allowed the posting of pictures, songs, and videos on its website and forums is because we have always believed that sharing media increased interest in BoA™. In turn, we believed that we could help spread the word about BoA™ to English speaking people and increase her popularity and sales. Looking at BoA™'s increasing popularity in North America, I believe that we have fulfilled our mandate. Unfortunately, this must end.
The administrators and staff of BoAjjang do not have the time nor financial resources for a lengthy court battle against such a large organization. We have no choice but to listen to SM Entertainment's wishes. They have told us to place extreme limitations on file sharing and have provided us with a large set of rules which we must abide by. I recommend that all of you read the rules in great depth and follow them strictly. We cannot afford any further legal action by SM Entertainment.
Below are copies of the letters that SM Entertainment Co., Ltd have sent us. Click on the thumbnails to view a larger version.
To protect their copyright interests, SM Entertainment Co. and Avex Entertainment Co. have told us to enforce the following rules outlined below:
- Only samples of songs may be posted, not entire songs. The maximum length of any sample that can be posted is 90 seconds. Do not post audio clips that are longer than this, if it is longer, please cut out parts until it is under 90 seconds in length.
- Likewise, all posted sample videos must also be 90 seconds or less.
- Since they are used primarily for marketing purposes, posting of commercials featuring BoA™ are allowed, and in fact encouraged.
- Filesizes of posted videos may not exceed 30 megabytes. High quality files have proven to be detrimental to sales.
- Following the same vein, images of BoA™ may not be greater than 200 pixels in height or 200 pixels in width.
- To preserve BoA™'s clean image, videos of BoA™ wearing clothing that shows her knees is not allowed. Furthermore, any video showing excessive neckline, i.e. 2 centimetres below the below the top of the shoulders, is strictly prohibited.
- To prevent rumours regarding BoA™'s relationship and personal life, members may not post media (including video, pictures, and sound files) of BoA™ with a single other male. Media containing BoA™ with two or more males is acceptable. Furthermore, there is no restriction on media containing BoA™ with female company.
- Due to copyright laws in various nations, you may not post any video where BoA™ is wearing the following ethnic dresses: Japanese Kimono, Hamaka, Korean Hanbok, Dar Anahita, Inca Cloth Tunic, Andalusi Garb, Tibetan Jewelry, Shaolin Monk Robe.
- Because of complaints from the inventors and/or producers of the aforementioned instruments, audio clips of BoA™ that are posted must not contain the following instruments: French horn, harpsichord, mandolin, harmonica, or triangle.
- Creations (including images, dancing, songs, etc.) in which you have replicated BoA™'s media/property must be accredited properly following the item. Members must announce verbally or visually, "This item that I have created/presented was fan art based on BoA™'s
. All credit goes to BoA™ and her hiring company, SM Entertainment. I have not profited from this piece of work." - Lyrics are also subject to intellectual property laws. All posted lyrics may only contain a sampling of all the lyrics in the song. All posted lyrics must abide by the following rules: it may only contain a maximum of one verse, one chorus, and one bridge, and the total may not exceed 400 words.
- Furthermore, if your username contains the word "BoA", your signature must now contain the following disclaimer. "BoA™ is a trademarked name owned by SM Entertainment Co., Ltd. with rights also held by Avex Entertainment Co. Any use of the name BoA™ is for purely non-profit purposes only."
- In addition to the above mentioned rule, every time the brand name BoA™ is used in a post or thread, the trademark symbol must be included with her name. We have installed a new feature on the forums to allow the ™ superscript can be coded on the forum by typing simply in (tm) in the message box.
- All news articles henceforth must be reviewed and approved by SM Entertainment before it can be posted on the front page to ensure the article is valid and in the best interest of BoA and SM Entertainment.
"SM Entertainment is willing to give BoAjjang a one-day grace period to see if it can adhere these aforementioned rules. On April 2, 2007, SM Entertainment will issue their final decision whether or not to pursue further legal action or a permanent injunction against BoAjjang. SM Entertainment would like to thank you for your support and passion towards BoA. SM Entertainment thanks you for your patronage."
Hopefully you, our members, can follow the rules set by SM Entertainment so that we may continue to keep our website running in the future.
