Today is Daddy's birthday so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! Wanna say it here even though I think he doesn't know that I have a blog. LOL.

Yesterday went to Granny's house and Jansen the brat was watching the World Cup special moments online. He's such a dumbass. He called Paraguay Penguina. Like WTH. HAHA he's so stupid. But who can blame him he's just a Primary 1 kid who creates a din in the house everyday.

Shopped with mom and dad in Toa Payoh. Loads of places had more sales. I bought 2 more T-shirts, this time with my mom paying! YAY. And after shopping at TP we went to AMK to shop some more as well as to meet my sister cuz she went for tuition. She kept saying that she was hungry at about 6pm which is pretty early lah. So we went to Breeks to eat dinner and also in celebration of dad's birthday. Mine was some chicken patty thingy with spaghetti. The sauce was nice =) Took pix of course but the pictures are in the digital camera so haha I can't upload it cuz the digital camera program doesn't work with my lappie and I dunno why. So just imagine the food. LOL.

Then this morning mom said we were gonna go eat dimsum at TP. So yeah we went. It was nice =) It made us soooo full till we couldn't eat lunch at Ahma's house. Rae and Ryn was there again! So happy. Their mom who's my cousin's wife came shortly after we arrived and Rae and Ryn both came to hug me before they left!! So happy since they're so cute =) Nothing much to do at Ahma's house so read Teenage and I slept for 2 hours! Like WTH. But the house was so hot I was perspiring while sleeping.

Doing this stupid IAC worksheet now. I honestly dunno what to write. Look at the questions they ask.

This paper is graded at 15%.
Answer all three questions. Please write in approximately 350 words.

1) Face-to-face sessions:
- How has the module shaped your understanding of yourself, your family and your community?

2) 'Spies R Us' social investigation project:
- What have you learnt from this project? (Focus not only on the knowledge gained from the findings, but also on the process)

3) Share your thoughts on any one of the following:
- How the module can be improved.
- Any other thoughts and views about IAC.

Like WTH right! What am I supposed to write??? I honestly wanna tell that this stupid IAC (which stands for Individual And The Community) is the dumbest subject I have and that it's a waste of time. I don't mind COMT (which is Communication Toolkit, which teaches us to converse and write well) but IAC is so crappy. This piece of work is actually a feedback form right! So how can it be graded? There's no right or wrong answer so it's really stupid to be graded. BAH. Who's so weird to come up with such a piece? HAIZ. Guess I'm off to do it. =X

I doomed. I have not been paying attention in class for so many weeks. I guess I need to start studying already cuz the exams are like 3 weeks away and this week was gone in a flash. I borrowed Mellisa's textbooks to copy whatever I missed out. I GOTTA start listening in ELTECH, ENGMEC and EG2. Honestly. But the lessons are so boring. And all these new stuff that I'm learning is so different from the previous chapters. HAIZ it's gonna be so tough trying to catch up. Somebody scold me for not listening in class!

I saw something really interesting in 8Days. Read it and have a good laugh!

EVERYTHING YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT FAST FOOD
by Eric Scholosser & Charles Wilson

Just about anything yummy in a fast food joint is man-made.
A strawberry milkshake contains an astonishing array of chemicals like amyl acetate. These tasty fake flavours, according to Schlosser, "are carefully designed to make you want to eat them again and again".

Pink, purple or red processed foods probably get their colour from bugs.
Carmine, a colouring additive, is made from a small bug from Peru. Thousands of these insects are ground to make certain processed foods like strawberry yoghurt a pretty shade of pink red or purple. Not so pretty now, eh?

Fast-food-farmed chickens feed on each other.
To save on chicken feed and fatten birds quickly, battery farm chickens are fed scraps from chicken slaughterhouses, making them not so fine young cannibals.

Beef patties may contain cow crap.
Cattle raised in cramped feedlots for fast food chains "live amid pools of each other's manure". More charmingly, cow hides are sometimes flecked with dung which can taint the meat. So a burger can make you ill because "there is poop in the meat". Right. Pass the veggies, please.

On Sunday, I went to the Toa Payoh Sports Hall with my parents to see my sister during her Taekwondo grading. And sorry I made a mistake, she's supposed to go on to blue belt, not blue tip. LOL. The whole sports hall was filled with people EVERYWHERE. We took so long to spot her. Then while it was her turn, I took some pictures of her. But it's pretty small and my phone camera isn't that good.

This is her when she's doing her pattern. She's right in the middle.

This is her when she's sparring. I dunno if anyone can spot but yeah.

I saw Pamela!!! I waved but she didn't see me. So sad lah. My sister said she looks cute in the ghee [honestly we all dunno how is it spelt, even Ken doesn't. LOL]. And my sister said Pam is going on yellow belt. Go Pam!! =)

After the grading, we went to a few cake shops in Toa Payoh to get a cake to celebrate my sister's birthday, which is like tomorrow. Finally settled onto an ice-cream cake from Swensen's. Mom told us we were not going to Ahma's house a while ago, we would be going to my uncle's house instead. The usual cousins were there except Jamie and John. So we started out by cutting cake.

XIAOHUI! I DUNNO WHERE THE HELL YOU'RE LOOKING AT!

She's looking in my direction! Sadly she's not looking at my camera but the digicam that my mom was holding. LOL.

The delicious ice-cream cake.

Ben playing with the dry ice that came with the cake to keep it cold. He was so facinated =)

Kristin again! She really really looks like my Aunty Joo Geok. Like totally the same. Karen, Kristin's 11 year old sister doesn't even look like Aunty Joo Geok that much.

*Bonus bonus* Ken in his ghee. Black belt leh! Must help him haolian. LOL. And no, that's not his tummy. I think I have the unedited version of this picture but I dunno where is it. So haha this is his blog's.

I love posting pictures =) Most of the time I'm like photoblogging already. But honestly, a picture speaks a thousand words right? =)

Mom bought me the 250GB HDD!!!!! I'm so freaking happy. Now I can safely backup all my files from my lappie and not worrying! =) Bah. I'm in a good mood today although I still have a large pile of undone homework. And tomorrow's a really long day. Sobs. I'm already so shag I can't feel any shagger. LOL is that even a word?

ITALY WON! Dear wanted to bet with me and he let me have Italy and he took France. For a moment during the match, I thought that France was surely gonna win. But but but. Zidane the silly man [<-- it rhymes!] got himself a red card. And my Italy had the chance to win! YAY YAY YAY! My dad was like "Aiya France confirm will win wan lah... Italians are so rough on the pitch." But he had to eat his words! Haha I'm so mean. My sister and I were like screaming when Italy won! HAHAHAHA so exciting. However it was the second match I watched besides the opening match being the first. I'm such a slowmo. But it was great although at first I was rooting for Brazil.

Gonna go get rid of that mountain of homework now. Hope I can take more pictures to post! Don't you just love looking at pictures? =)

It's been nearly a week since I updated. My mood is damn shitty now. Since last night, in fact. Shall not go into the details.

Anyway I went out with Majella today. She's super nice lah. And we had loads of catching up done. Yes as usual we went Kbox. Sang loads of JJ Lin's songs. I love Shu Neng Sheng Qiao! Its such a nice song. The Klunch today was nice too. We were late so we extended to 3pm and we still didn't want to leave! Then we went to take neos. Most of the time my best neos are taken with Majella! Haha love you girl! You totally rock =)

At night, went to eat at Swensen's with my family to celebrate my sister's coming birthday. I'm such a bad sister I haven't prepared a present for her yet. But honestly I don't know what she wants. Probably will go take a peek at her blog's wishlist if there is one. LOL. My favourite Teriyaki Chicken Spaghetti at Swensen's disappeared! I was so looking forward to eating it. HAIZ. Anyway the ice cream made up for everything. Cuz its the nicest Lime Sherbet and Orange Sherbet! So totally heavenly. Tomorrow going to Shunli's house to cut cake for my sister.

My sister is going for Taekwondo grading tomorrow and probably going to watch her with my parents. I think she's going on to blue tip and she said by next year she would get her black belt! So cool lah.

Anyway, thanks to all the people who cheered up a very moody me today. =)

I WANNA WATCH SOCCER!

STUPID TAGBOARD! There's something wrong with it again. Dunno when then it'll be fine.

Today Rae and Ryn, my niece and nephew came to my grandma's house! I was really happy to see them because they're really cute and I haven't seen them since March. As usual, Kristin came and she looks so happy today!

This picture of Kristin looks really artistic right!

She's pressing her nose! Rare cute picture of her.

This is Rae. She's really cute and very quiet. Don't you think she looks like this Korean actress Kim Hyun Ju? In case you people dunno who I mean, its the actress who act in the show 'Glass Shoes' as Shanyu which is airing on Channel U weekdays 6pm.

Ryn! He's so bashful. Don't even wanna smile for the camera. So I took a pic of him playing with Lego.

Ben playing with his power rangers.

Ben's power rangers are gaying together! Cuz both are guys, although yellow ranger is supposed to be a girl right, I dunno why his has muscles so its definitely a guy!

Ryn kept sticking to the door even when his mom came to pick him to go home!

His mom carrying him while he was crying. Heart pain to see little kids cry.

Anyway Rae was so cute. She wanted to hug me before she left with her mom! So cute. I don't think I've ever taken a picture with Rae before. That's so sad. Next time I'm gonna!

I was talking to Lavanya on Wednesday and she made me realise that I really really miss Cedar alot. And I mean ALOT. I don't know why we were talking about my school and she told me about her friend who was also from Cedar who really loves Cedar to bits. So I guess I gonna write about Cedar, my dear school and my dear friends.

In the beginning when I first got into the school, I didn't really feel as if I belonged there, because I was missing Peichun alot, although many of my classmates [as many as 12 girls] also came to Cedar. And 4 of us became classmates again in 1A. We hung out alot together, as well as with the other peichunners who were in our class. But slowly when we all joined various CCAs, the bond kind of broke and we began to hang out with our CCA mates.

To the Peichunners who became Cedarians, we all spent so much time together, but we all drifted apart because we had new lives and new friends. But still, I will not forget our PCPS days as well as our Cedar days that we spent together, though short in Cedar, but still memorable.

My class 1A'02 and 2A'03 basically have the same classmates, and I had a group that I always hung out with. Yunqian, Keng Yee, Su Bee [in sec 1], Audrey, Rachael Chong, Hui Hui... We always take loads of stupid pictures with Yunqian and Audrey being models, though silly, but still it's a kind of memory and a really good one. I think I hung out more with this group when I was in lower sec, and I still remember ERSIE [YQ do you rmb? LOL!]

To this bunch of girls, although most of us changed class in sec 3, I still love the times we had spent in those days, hanging out during after school hours at Sumo-Bento and taking more stupid pictures. 1A/2A will always be in my heart, and also Ms Tessa Tan and the time when she started being nice to us.

Sec 3C'04 and 4C'05 are the times I really enjoyed alot, with the many guides in my class and also our recess gang.

To my favourite recess gang: Pamela, Tze Yin, Bijun and Christabel
I LOVE YOU GIRLS! Will never forget the times that we queue for food together, especially for curry chicken mee on fridays and we'll always chiong to the canteen! And also we always crap together, talking about disgusting stuff especially a certain someone who always does! Pam will always be DKDKD and DS and Ty will always be DKD and D! And Pam, your grandfather is Dick Lee! Do I have a nickname? I don't remember already! And of course Bijun will always be PIGEON! I love taking pictures with you girls. I still have everything we took since sec 3! Miss having recess together. Let's go back to Cedar one day to have recess! LOL.

To my dear guides, especially [in no particular order]:
Tzeyin, Emmeline, GONGS, Jerlyn, Ahma [birthday celebration gang]
Yunqian, Valerie, Wanling
Alicia, Majella [Kbox gang]
Chenya, Wanru [sakae sushi gang]
You girls totally rock my life. I don't know what I would have become without you girls and of course all the ups and downs we spent in guides, helping and encouraging each other. Although there were many cliques among us when we were in lower sec and sec 3, we still had strong bonds within our cliques. And somehow, everyone became one big clique when we were in sec 4. Many events brought us together, some brought us apart. But eventually I guess what brought us all together was the fact that we became seniors and it was our last year being guides and we had to show our juniors a good example and be close together. I guess that benefitted us alot too and now we have all become great friends.

I really wanna shout out to all of you but I don't think I can, so only some of you.

To TZEYIN
I really consider you as one of my top friends whom I can talk to with about absolutely everything. I love the times when we were table partners, when we fall asleep in class, when we text each other and you always reply so slowly, when we do homework together, when we lunch together, when we go tuition together, when we go shopping together after school at town, and much more. I really treasure a friend like you and I really hope that we'll always be friends, whether we'll still be close or not. Of course I hope we remain close! You always make my day when you say funny and lame things, and after school when we walk out to Potong Pasir together. Thanks for letting me tompang in your dad's very cute car every now and then! You come my house so many times but I still haven't gone to your house before. One day must let me go! LOL.

To GONGS
Although we were in the same class in lower sec, we have never been really close then. We only become really close in sec 3 and onwards because of Asian Pop! Remember the times we went crazy over DBSK and ordered so many CDs from Yesasia? And you helped me! I love the card you made for new year which was quite belated right? Your drawing always rocks! Some more you can draw anime at full body size and that's really amazing. You're always so funny and always deny that you're gongs but you still respond! I love your outrageous fashion sense and outrageous hair colour! You look good with blue hair! Love the times we spend at the school piano when I'll teach you Lalala Love Song! Can you still remember how to play? I hope you do!

To EMMELINE
Patrol mate! Kingfisher rocks forever. You, me and Zihui will always be the 3 loudhailers of Kingfisher! I miss patrol corner alot. Although its always us talking to Joy and Hanwei and the rest would keep quiet, I still love it. You are a really good listening ear! I think I told you alot before right? LOL. Hope you're having a great time rock climbing and with your XXX! Oh yes and the handbags, remember? Love the sunset at sentosa, especially the time we went after National Day celebrations. And we did rifle drills at sentosa with TY! We always go crazy over rifle drills and those you-know-who-I'm-talking about. We must lie on each other's tummies and laugh together again!

To YUNQIAN
Though many ups and downs happened, I still want to let you know you're a great friend! You are the best person ever to talk on the phone with, especially when it comes to gossiping. The times we spent together going to autograph sessions and Energy's concert was great. We always spend our time talking on the phone about our idols and often bought their CDs together. We even had a fanfic, although I didn't write at all. I still have the very funny present you gave me with Wanling for my birthday in sec 1. And we went crazy over CJS too! Teddy Bear! You're absolutely one of those friends I have been closest with. I still remember the time we cried over the phone when Toro was leaving, and we talked on the phone for more than an hour the day before SS prelim paper! How lucky am I to have a friend who can click so well with me. I only took so little neoprints with you. We gotta take more! =)

To MAJELLA
We both know we hated each other in lower sec! I guess we became closer when we started exchange postcards right? That's like sec 3 if I'm not wrong. Then I think we became really close in sec 4, when you began to listen to alot of Kpop. We can also talk about alot of stuff right! And I know we have similar tastes in alot of things. Good to talk to you about music! And I really thank all the times that your mom gave me a lift home and saved me so much transport time. You're like my Kbox-ing buddy along with Alicia and Rachel and you girls all sound great! Thanks for being smart and helping me with my studies when I needed it. You've been great company! I really believe that our friendship can go on for a long long time. =)

To ALICIA
My dear treasurer! We always spend time collecting money from the guides and hounding after them like loansharks! I think I became really close to you only in sec 4 when we became treasurers. And also when we choreographed the sec 4 dance for the campfire. You are such a good dancer and you're smart, pretty, hardworking, can sing, can cook, WOW. You're the perfect person everyone would wanna be like. Haha. It was great not only being fellow treasurers but also when we were partners during the dance. The TRI-ANGLE part! Love our sec 4 dance. And remember we did the dance together in the AS1 and Sharon filmed it for us on your HP? Do you still have it? I want! Hope to dance with you again although I doubt there'll be a chance.

To WANRU
The woman who loves her pink crocs! R&R forever! I still remember you're always in the F&B departments and you voluteered to be in R&R! So funny. We spent loads of times drawing the R&R floorplans and re-drawing whenever Juiying wasn't happy with it. And we all draw until scared right! And many times we hang out together at TP Central. Is Dancing in the Moonlight still your favourite song? LOL. You're mom is so hip and so nice. And your chio sister! I will never forget the day before Glanz Nacht when we spent a crazy day shopping and rushing stuff out at your house. I'm so sorry for being the first to doze off! Let's go airport with Chenya again. Take 53 all the way. =)

To CHENYA
You hot babe! Tall and pretty. Make people envious. LOL. Anyway you're my buddy to take MRT with after all those campfires to AMK station and we always hope 73 and 165 comes at the same time! So that none of us will be left behind. I thought you wanna marry Hyesung? LOL. You should be the best person to look for about fashion and skincare! I wonder how much you have. One day when you have a modelling show and if can must ask me go! I wanna see =) Take care loads with your Mr okay? Miss ya loads!

I guess that's all. I can't think of what more to say already.

I miss Cedar like mad.
I miss the clock tower.
I miss the courtyard.
I miss the canteen.
I miss my classroom.

[Did anyone realise up to this point everything begins with a 'C'?]

I miss my blue and grey uniform.
I miss the guides lounge.
I miss the empty corridors.
I miss the MPH and the gallery.
I miss Ms Chng!
I miss the teachers.
I miss Ms Susan Leong!
I miss my dear friends.
I miss the juniors.
I miss Cedar, my second home.

I don't feel as though NP has given me that second home feeling because I think its too big and there's too many people. While in Cedar, although you didn't know everybody, somehow everyone seemed familiar. It was just like during orientation, Xueling came to say hi to me although I don't think we ever talked before. Somehow there is this kind of closeness. The bonds and friendships forged in Cedar, I believe, will probably last forever. We all spent so much time together in school everyday, as much as 12 hours, so we will undoubtly be so close. After all activities in Cedar, I don't really like leaving to go home. But now in NP, everytime my lessons end I don't want to stay behind. The feeling is so different. I believe I love Cedar more than I love Peichun although I spent less time in Cedar than in Peichun.

Once a Cedarian, always a Cedarian. I will never regard myself as an ex-student or refer Cedar as my ex-school.

---

Unite, Cedarians, unite
We'll persevere all the way
Make sure our torch is burning bright
Courteous, honest everyday
Forever loyal ever true
For Cedar our best we'll do

To Cedar Girls' School we belong
With pride and love let's sing this song
Let us unite and together vow
To dedicate our loyalty now
To Cedar Girls' School we belong
With pride and love let's sing this song
Let us unite and together vow
To dedicate our loyalty now

---

We, the Girl Guides, of 40th company
All our strength and effort we will give
Forging ahead and never looking back
To serve, to strive and not to yield

No tears of hardship, no cries of pain
We're strong and mighty and ready to be trained
'Be prepared' our motto it shall be
To serve, to strive and not to yield

We, the Girl Guides, of 40th company
All our strength and effort we will give
Forging ahead and never looking back
To serve, to strive and not to yield

---

Our way is clear as we march on
To see our flag on high
Its never furled throughout the world
For hope shall never die
We must unite for what is right
In friendship true and strong
Until the earth in its rebirth
Shall sing our song
Shall sing our song

---

There will not be a day that I would not be thinking of anything related to Cedar. Don't think there will ever be a day like that...
