I read 2 blogs that kept me entertained for HOURS. It's about the Xiaxue VS Dawn Yang thing. Superrrr shiok and juicy! I've been following this since forever (HA! call me kaypoh!). BUT HEY! Don't you all follow it too??? It's damn interesting la, how everyone is trying to dig the shit of Dawn out. HAHA. No point being so pretty when you're fake all over, inside and out.

She allegedly plagiarized text in her STOMP blog too. So, what did you learn in school? Thought you're not supposed to plagiarize and you're supposed to credit your sources? I bet if all her entries are put through TurnItIn or SafeAssignment, her plagiarism index would be 100%. HAHA ok too over la, but you get my drift. Actually easy what, just put all her text through those programs. Those crazy programs can tell you which website, which book, which line, which page so it saves you all (those people digging Dawn's shit) so much trouble from googling. :D

I'm not very pretty, but at least I am who I am and I don't take someone else's persona and pretend that it's my own. :D

There's BoA (duh, if not why I like. HAHAHA), Xiah (hottie + cutie!!), Bora (damn bloody talented pianist) and Tablo (he rap sibei nice). By the way, Anyband is a project group to advertise for Samsung mobile phones in Korea. Dope can? They got songs and music videos for this project! Previous projects include Anymotion (all you NRA people in Danzation 2006 CONFIRM know what song) by Lee Hyori, AnyStar by Hyori also if I'm not wrong, and there's AnyClub by Hyori and Rain.

Seriously, 24 hours isn't enough for me each day. The workload never seems to end! How I wish I can just spend one whole day sleeping and watching TV and playing piano. RAWR!!! The list of things I have to do is endless. ): That includes dancing and practicing for the upcoming Awards & Appreciation Night, DPM designs (although I think Van did most of it, HAHA) and presentation, WISP presentation and reflections, Julian W.'s homework (which I haven't touched since the first week he gave me homework), FYP report (super last minute work today chiong like siao) AND ARGH I DUNNO WHAT ELSE.

FYP today totally siao. Although most of the report done earlier by Van (and submitted one day earlier for Denry Ma to edit), we could only edit those things that were wrong today. And oh my, it was really crazy. Stupid Word cannot copy the stupid diagrams like select all and copy, must one by one group together then can copy which is damn tedious. So must copy here copy there cuz Van and I working on different parts at one go. ALAMAK MAN. Then the stupid assignment of tasks part damn annoying also, I do until I superrrr dulan. Then later on we finally can print already, BUT THEN the stupid project room printer is network printer, need to install software. JIALAT cuz Van's and my laptop is external CD drive, and Yingwen's is Vista and that software can't work on Vista. OMFG. Then HENG HENG got one kind group lend us their laptop to print. THEN THE TIME WAS LIKE 5.30PM when we're supposed to hand it in at that time at the office. We damn scared can. Then Denry sibei pro. He had this folder thing lor for us to put our report inside!! And he say he kope from previous group. SIBEI TOKONG. All the other groups confirm staple their stuff, ours jitao is in a file. HAHAHA. And I was quite mean to Denry, cuz there wasn't enough paper and I was busy copying files or something then I said "go to Karen (the TSO in charge of my project room), she got alot of paper" then Denry really guai guai go take can??!?!? OMFG! He damn nice!!

By the way Denry Ma is my lecturer! HAHA!

A TOUCHING LOVE STORY

An incredible love story has come out of China recently and managed to touch the world.
It is a story of a man and an older woman who ran off to live and love each other in peace for over half a century.



The 70-year-old Chinese man who hand-carved over 6,000 stairs up a mountain for his 80-year-old wife has passed away in the cave which has been the couple's home for the last 50 years.

Over 50 years ago, Liu Guojiang a 19 year-old boy, fell in love with a 29 year-old widowed mother named Xu Chaoqin..



In a twist worthy of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, friends and relatives criticized the relationship because of the age difference and the fact that Xu already had children.



At that time, it was unacceptable and immoral for a young man to love an older woman.. To avoid the market gossip and the scorn of their communities, the couple decided to elope and lived in a cave in Jiangjin County in Southern ChongQing Municipality.



In the beginning, life was harsh as hey had nothing, no electricity or even food. They had to eat grass and roots they found in the mountain, and Liu made a kerosene lamp that they used to light up their lives.

Xu felt that she had tied Liu down and repeatedly asked him, 'Are you regretful? Liu always replied, 'As long as we are industrious, life will improve.'

In the second year of living in the mountain, Liu began and continued for over 50 years, to hand-carve the steps so that his wife could get down the mountain easily.

Half a century later in 2001, a group of adventurers were exploring the forest and were surprised to find the elderly couple and the over 6,000 hand-carved steps. Liu MingSheng, one of their seven children said, 'My parents loved each other so much, they have lived in seclusion for over 50 years and never been apart a single day. He hand carved more than 6,000 steps over the years for my mother's convenience, although she doesn't go down the mountain that much.'



The couple had lived in peace for over 50 years until last week. Liu, now 72 years, returned from his daily farm work and collapsed. Xu sat and prayed with her husband as he passed away in her arms. So in love with Xu, was Liu, that no one was able to release the grip he had on his wife's hand even after he had passed away.



'You promised me you'll take care of me, you'll always be with me until the day I died, now you left before me, how am I going to live without you?'

Xu spent days softly repeating this sentence and touching her husband's black coffin with tears rolling down her cheeks.

In 2006, their story became one of the top 10 love stories from China , collected by the Chinese Women Weekly. The local government has decided to preserve the love ladder and the place they lived as a museum, so this love story can live forever.

YAY whee it's 10 days past half a year! I've haven't been blogging for like what, 16 days?? LOL. Been super busy with I-don't-know-what (okay actually it's projects and school and LOADS of outings with ALOT of people, and WORK). I'm so excited. I haven't done my nails for three weeks! And Sally Hansen's Diamond Shine top/base coat is seriously ownage cuz it's been three weeks and my nail colour only chipped a little! It's a bit pricey ($14+) but it's definitely worth it cuz it also makes my nails harder and less prone to breakage!

Okay I sound like I'm advertising for Sally Hansen. LOLOL.

Christabel's birthday celebration (with Pamela, Tze Yin & me) last Friday! We had Fish & Co., and this was the conversation between them and the waiter (before I came cuz I was working).
Waiter: Do you have Citibank credit card? You can get a 10% off the whole bill if you pay with it.
Them: Uh, don't have leh. (All sad face)
Waiter: How about Popular card? Also can 10% off.
Them (excitedly): WE ALL HAVE!!

HAHAHAHA CAN! I don't ever own a Popular card (my mom had one though) although I used to love Popular cuz I could buy colour pens (1 mooncake tin full)!! And notebooks (I sort of have a fetish for cute notebooks, LOL). Oh and CD-Rama. I love to go there look at CDs can!! HAHAHA.

AH ok back to topic. So they all got super excited cuz of the Popular card cuz of the discount. Our bill was $82+, then became $73 leh! Dope right. HAHAHA. Then we wanted to take photos, but like no place to take so we ended up taking outside National Library. Super damn alot of unglam shots. And it's been 6 days since I saw them and I haven't uploaded the photos!!! Too busy lah. HAHAHA.

Daphne left for Australia last Thursday. ): I'm so gonna miss her and her nice voice and songs.
We went to T3 to send her off and she took First Class leh! WOW can. Hahahaha.
