I'm supposed to have alot more time to blog after Danzation right? But surprisingly.... NO! Still super caught up with alot alot of outings and stuff!! Too happening already... I want to stay at home! HAHAHA. Ok I'll take that back, if not I'll be a lonely soul counting down to the new year by myself. LOLS.
Last week went Vicks house to bake for Shane's birthday, then Christmas Eve which was Shane's birthday we went Beckie's house to cook for him! Ok I think I did very little cos I'm lousy in cooking... HAHA. Christmas party at Auntie Suzie's new house in Bukit Batok. So many people I know living there sia. Met cousins and nephew RYN and niece RAE! HAPPY!!! Then night went to stay at Beckie's house, present exchange and solo a dance genre! Quite an interesting way of exchanging presents. Haha.
Christmas Day went Yuxin's ULTIMATE HUGE HOUSE!!! 4 storeys, got lift access to all floors, the lift got music, their walkway can park like 8 cars, every room has a toilet (even the rooftop garden also have!!!!), got games room, dance studio, GRAND PIANO!, large plasma TVs in alot of places, huge dining table, SWIMMING POOL!, whole house surround sound, outdoor speakers, swing!, park lampposts, 4-tier chandelier, and the list really goes on. Lao sai la too big already... LOLS.
Watched Bedtime Stories and Yes Man. Both are great! NOT FORGETTING TWILIGHT! Ultimate dope shit!!!!! Edward................... I want to chiong the book leh but I must do report for PD2 later!!! Sian........... I think all the P girls finished the book already lor. ):

Yesterday morning, my mum came to tap me when I was asleep and asked "min, do you wanna wake up already?"
Then suddenly my eyes open damn big and I exclaimed "OMG mummy what time is it now??".
And she told me "it's 11.30am now."
Then I went "SHITTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY CALL TIME IN SCHOOL IS 12PM!!!!! HOW, I LATE ALREADY!!!!"
Then my mum looked at me, literally with O.O expression and she stunned while telling me "girl, Danzation ended yesterday leh".
Then it hit me.
Danzation 2008 has come to a close. I.... miss it so much already. Just one week ago, we began our full runs in the Convention Centre. Just one week ago, we were filming the final scenes for the videos. It has been an extremely tough journey cos I had to juggle dance with school with FYP with filming with common tests. I know everyone's the same. But ya I found it a little harder cos I was sick. And I still am very much sick, very much to my displeasure.
I have LOADS of people to thank. I wrote quite some cards for some people already, I really wanted to buy somethings for you all but I woke up late so couldn't buy in time. Sorry everyone. But I love you all nevertheless. :D

Seriously everyone TOO DOPE ALREADY! I know I'm only a tiny fry in the whole committee but I still think we are dope!!!! If don't have all of you coming together to plan and execute Danzation, I think Danzation 2008 can become Danzation 2010 already. LOL.

From all the effort everyone put in for the choreography, for the cleaning of steps, for costume, for design, for marketing, for videos, for music, for lightings, for logistics, for ticketing, for welfare, for planning, for money, for backstage, for everything (means you, Peggy), I know it.
The number of days left to Danzation is really making me shit in my pants, but to know that I have the support of many, really makes me feel alot better. My mum, although she doesn't really like that I spend so much time on dance, still ok with me coming home late. She'll call at 11+ and ask where am I and stuff, and will keep food for me, make me liang teh, come make me feel better when I cough throughout the night.

Way before Danzation preparation began, I was told I'm in the photography and videography team for Danzation 2008. I was super elated because photography is my love, and when I first read the proposal I was to be part of the team doing the photoshoots which made me really really excited.
But in the end the photoshoots really caused so much problems for me and Nicole so much so that we began to wonder, why are we working so hard for? Initially we were to rent the FSV studio to do our photoshoot there because we could use the lights but end up TT didn't allow, so we just thought of alternative methods to complete these shoots. Meaning, go down to Beauty World to buy white cloth, cutting the cloth, and testing if it could work as the background. I really got no idea why the shoots we must use like 5 sessions to complete when initially I only gave 2 days for it. Then nobody know I'm always chased for the photos, because I still need to edit all of it and make them look consistent, on top of my FYP. And I realised, only 1 or 2 choreographers thanked us after we did the shoot. Then we do it for so many sessions, the cloth always put up take down put up take down, you all think very fun?
Actually sometimes I really have no idea why am I so nice to bring my camera so often. Then everyone play till damn happy. But you all know, shutter count once reach 200k of photos must change the shutter box?? Nobody knows. Then when I have to change, I pay myself but actually alot people take alot of useless photos and they're all lying in my computer. I used my own money to buy my DSLR. You all like it, buy one yourself. I'm okay if you're my close friend and you wanna play with it but if you're not you better know where you stand.
And then for videos. Everyone takes for granted. Probably most of you don't really know how much time we take to churn these videos out. Think it can be completed within 2-3hours? You're wrong. We take at least 4 hours for each shoot, including pre-production meaning planning of shots, preparing props, finding locations for the shoot, and getting the equipment. Then the actual shoot also takes time cos we still got to frame the shots, then sometimes not a good take then must retake. Then post-production includes digitizing the tape, editing, adding subtitles and stuff. Then during pre-production we also must make sure everyone involved can make it or at least one cam op. But then, we even have a problem with this, how to shoot? Then props we buy cannot even claim (if it's food) then where we get back our money? Anyone offer to help us? Have, I know. But it's the minority. How many meetings we have planning the shots, nobody knows. Then when we have no ideas, also nobody knows. Think so easy to come up with a concept of the video is it? What about the shoot we wanted to do at East Coast? We started on it on 31st October. We failed due to weather and can never do that shoot again due to time constrains. We camped there for 9 hours, anyone knows? Then the equipment that we had to borrow from Yew and Shawn's school, it's damn hard to borrow, anyone knows? No camera no matter how much effort we spent on pre-production we also cannot shoot.
Then because of all these shit, Nicole and I really sort of screw up our studies. Like totally no time to study. The day before our papers we still intend to shoot but end up also screw up. I studied hard for ESD paper. I know the time I spent on it wasn't enough but at least I had time to finish 5 past year papers. But guess what? The paper I had was nothing like the past year papers. I damn lucky. Then throughout my paper I was coughing. Really damn sorry to the rest of the candidates.
I haven't gone on a date in ages. I haven't watched a movie in ages. And it's all due to what? Danzation. Not like I'm not happy being part of it, but don't you just realise, my video team has really been taken for granted for? You all think, all we do is just take photos and film videos, not very difficult what. Ya before you all say that, come along with video team for 1 filming session and see for yourself before judging our team.
I really don't know how some people can be so selfish to think of themselves only. You have a problem, WHAT ABOUT US???
I just want to thank those people who understand our crazy to the ultimate max schedules. And video team for going through thick and thin with me. :D

My stupid cough just doesn't want to go away. ): Have been coughing for around 5 days, omg. I'm so scared I wouldn't recover before Danzation is here.
Speaking of Danzation. OMFG. 9 MORE DAYS. And omfg. The videos are still not complete. Help me pray that we'll get camera this weekend again!! If not really gg already la.
Friday's shoot was MADNESS. I think we never filmed for around 7 hours before. We filmed from 9pm onwards, till almost 4am. SEE, we wei Danzation xi sheng lor!!!! Poor Ore, it's Sushi Anniversary then he gotta rush back studio celebrate with the rest, then rush back to my place to continue filming. Poor JJ, cos her mum waiting at their shop till 4am for her to fetch. Poor Nic and Huiting, who had to wait till 6am for the first bus cos take cab really bo hua. When filming I damn scared I cough sia. Cos really sucks to the max if the take is good and I ruin it by coughing. ):
Then Sunday we filmed at Alumni and I really ruined the very first scene by coughing cos I was holding on to the mic, and trying damn hard to suppress my cough. Then I decided I really should be out of the room if not I'll ruin everything. HAHA. Sucks to be me!!!!!!!!!
Bird is power. He taught me damn damn damn alot on ESD. I hope I pass. I hope Timers doesn't come out in the long question which costs 30 marks and which Bird doesn't know how to do so can't learn from him. URGH. I haven't touched BEI. Tomorrow start!
Then yesterday really too funny already. We all studying at Bird's clubhouse in school, everyone drove except me and Wilson only. Meaning there were 7 cars in total (Chin Tiong left early and Kevin came late, so end up only 6 cars). CRAZY!!!!! 8 people 6 cars! Then say wanna eat, we know Kevin and Bird not going, but Yijie don't know. Then while on PIE he followed Kevin all the way to Novena when we are going Upper Serangoon to eat! Swee oh. Then Yijie say ok come find us, he should exit PIE at Upper Serangoon, but don't turn onto it, instead he should turn to Macpherson Road and enter the first small road but he didn't!!! He went to Upper Serangoon! LOL!!!! Then when he U turn back, can reach Macpherson Road already and turn in the first small lane BUT HE OVERSHOT!!!! LOL!!!!!! Then he must Uturn come back again, this time Wilson wait for him at the main road in case he lost again. Power leh Yijie. HAHAHA.
Yesterday night my house got adventure also. My house got like 6 medium sized cockroaches! NABEI DAMN DISGUSTING!!!! They didn't all come out at one go, it was like one by one. Then mum kept screaming when there was the first 4, I still quite calm. But later on when I go wash the dishes, GOT ONE OF IT TOUCH MY LEFT FOOT!!!! My throat pain I still scream like siao!!! FREAKING DISGUSTING LEH!!!!! WAH LAU!!!!!!!!!!! But one thing, my dad is a pro when it comes to catching all these disgusting creatures. After using a plastic bag to catch them, he can still use his hand to squish it la!!!!! WAH LAU!!! I CAN NEVER DO THAT!!!! Then after that he said to us "when you find boyfriend, first thing you look for is that he must be able to catch all these, LIKE ME!" LOL!!
Yesterday was an adventureful day. Thanks Vicks, Nic, Jaei, Huiting, David, Weijie, and whoever who told me to take care in studio yesterday. :D

Good news is....... WE GOT CAMERA TO FILM THIS WEEKEND!!!! YAY!!!! Okay besides Saturday but THANK YOU SHAWN for borrowing and lending us!!! WHEEEE!!!!!
15 days to Danzation leh. The Danzation tickets are really pretty, so is the booklet (and of course my photo looks nice! hahaha kiddin). And Sonia's rough cut for one of the Love segment videos is already super nice, imagine the final cut. :D And Nicole, you rock la. Thanks for converting the videos and getting your friend to help us. :D :D :D Huiting, thanks for digitizing the bus stop video and Sonia, thanks for digitizing the opening videos! :D :D
Filming is so tiring, but it's so damn fun. At first I'm damn afraid we cannot finish shooting, but since we have the camera this weekend, I'm damn confident already!!!!! YAY GO VIDEO TEAM!!!!!
Die I still have 76 blooper videos to look through. Those people who did funny things in front of any random camera, good luck! HAHAHAHA.

I really hate DENLIMA. The most contradicting and forgetful person on earth. And the ok-go workshop uncle, swee oh always tell me he not free, I cannot do my project. Then tell me Thursday go back school do cos I got no school. zzzzzzzzz. Sian. Thought can study.

12th December: BEI
Kill me la. No time to study. No time to finish filming. I'm so dead. Please kill me. Please.
My brain's bursting. I am so afraid I cannot hold out till Danzation is over. The videos how? The stupid camera so hard to borrow. It's so hard to get everyone to go shoot together. Then holidays can borrow camera? Don't know also.
I really think I got not enough time to study. All the upcoming pracs are all the FINAL pracs. I'm in a dilemma as to whether I should skip or not. And that sucks.
Sorry Nic and Sonia that I keep stoning during filming. =S
